As we close one year and look forward to the next, we are sad to be losing most of our current executive board due to the ever-changing, always-gonna-have-to-move military lifestyle.
According to state and national by-laws, the PTSA must fill the positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer in order to operate. Without these positions, the organization will be forced to disband (and it will be two years before it is allowed to form again)!
However, there are many more board positions that can be filled! Our current board has stepped up to take on additional roles such as hospitality, communications, fundraising and membership. The more parents involved with the PTSA the easier it becomes on the board and the more the PTSA can do for the school and the students.
Below is a list of the open board positions for the 2020-2021 school year.
Unsure if you have the time? Most of what the executive board does is done at home and on their own time. Family and careers always come first. This is strictly a volunteer position! The executive board typically meets on the first Friday of every month and association meetings are held on the third Friday every other month.
