Volunteers & Donations Needed For Playground Project

Updated: Feb 11, 2020

On Friday, February 7, 2020 the executive board met with Mr. Frost to finalize the plans proposed by the playground committee for the playground project. The proposal was amended to reflect the needs of the school as well as to be more cost-efficient.

As of February 11, 2020 the committee chair has chosen to resign from their position.

The playground project will still move ahead as scheduled under the direction of the PTSA executive board.

We will need as many volunteers as possible in order to complete the plans during the break.

We will be at the school Tuesday, February 18 from 12:30pm-3:30pm and again Wednesday, February 19 from 9am-3pm. We may meet again on Friday to finalize any last details.

Please note: Per the school, only school-aged children are permitted to attend and help. We ask that younger siblings stay home. Because the school is closed this week, there will be no access to bathrooms. Volunteers will have access to the port-a-johns on the playground.

If you are unable to volunteer, we are also actively seeking donations for both playgrounds!

Here is a list of what we are looking for:

  • Sand Toys for Sandbox: plastic shovels, trucks, buckets, etc.

  • Small Games: Uno, Skip-Bo, playing cards, jax sets

If you are able to donate, please bring your items in as soon as possible to the front office PTSA Donation Box.

Thank you so much for your donations and continued support!
